Obituary of Connie Trueman

TRUEMAN- Connie “Lou Ann” Trueman (nee Toomer) passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the 65. Lou Ann is survived by her brothers Noel (Martha) Toomer of Pike Bay, Bud Toomer, Sandy (Rose) Toomer all of St. Thomas, Kevin (Chris) Toomer of Tillsonburg, Dan Toomer of Edmonton; her sisters Maureen Toomer of B.C., Valerie Toomer, Bonnie Toomer both of Edmonton, and Rose (Richard) Smith of St. Thomas; her cousin Fred Haskell; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Lou Ann thoroughly enjoyed the friendships she made during her employment at Unimotor in St. Thomas. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mavis Toomer and by her son and best friend Ken “Fozzie” Trueman (2007). Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm, where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm.
