Elaine...was shocked and saddened when I heard of your passing...you were always helping others ...never ever asking much for yourself......always stopping for a quick chat while walking your dog.....always helping with the kids when we had activities here...cutting the grass ...snowblowing.... Very sad to hear of Elaine's passing. I remember spending many days with her, just listening to her stories and watching her draw. She helped me get off the monkey bars every time I got scared of jumping, and was one of the first people to see me successfully ride a two wheel bike. She also helped me become more aware of my native heritage. She was an incredibly private person, but had a big heart, and I will surely miss seeing her around.

Elaine, you were so kind hearted. Even though you were not very forthcoming with your life, you were there for everyone else, especially my family. You were so excited and proud when my oldest Heather got accepted to western university for her art degree. You always asked to see her work. With my son, Stewart, you loved watching and hearing all about his baseball. And with my youngest, Kayla, she has already said she will miss you calling her KalyaK or miss sassy! We all love you and will miss you so much. Guess this year I have to take the kids to McDonald’s without you, but don’t worry, we will have a McFlurry just for you. ❤️❤️
