Obituary of Irene Pankoff

Obituary PANKOFF - Irene (nee Hegedus) of St. Thomas (formerly of Niagara Falls) passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Marion Villa, Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care in London at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Donald Pankoff for 65 years. Also deeply loved and cherished by her children David Pankoff (Brenda) of London and Patricia Nemeth (Steven) of Straffordville. Her grandchildren Brianne Pankoff, Darren Pankoff, Steven Nemeth and Nate Nemeth brought Irene much joy as additions to the family. Missed by siblings Mary Bilotta (late Jim) and Pauline August (late Edward); and by several nieces and nephews. Irene is predeceased by siblings Ann Dwyer (late Ray), William Hegedus (late Marie) and brother in law Harry (Rose) Pankoff. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
