Obituary of Stan Fil

Obituary FIL- Stanislaw “Stan” Weislaw passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the age of 65. Stan is survived by his sisters Stella (Bill) Fehr, Liz (late Larry) Baert all of St. Thomas, Mary (Eugene) Kukielka of Brantford, and Theresa (Henry) Grzywnowicz of Dorchester; and by his many nieces and nephews. Stan was born in Poland to the late Adam and Frances Fil. He had a great sense of humour, a big heart and loved his family. A memorial mass will be held at Holy Angels Parish, 502 Talbot Street, St Thomas on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment of ashes in Holy Angels Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Angels Restoration Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
