Obituary of Vernon Bowerman

Obituary BOWERMAN- Vernon of St. Thomas passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the age of 64. Predeceased by his wife Marilyn (nee Miegs). Vern is survived by his children Jeff Almert, Aubrey Bowerman (Samantha), and Trever Bowerman; by his grandchildren Korbin, Tucker, Amber (Aaron), Abby and Hailey; his great grandchildren Nolan, Irissa and Parker; by his siblings Barb Clark (Sandy), Audrey Caughhell, Gladys Couse, Darlene Robinson (Pete), and Don Bowerman (Diane); by his sisters-in-law Darlene Henderson (Jim) and Debbie Miegs (late Kirk Simons); by his special nieces Tanya Henderson, Lisa Henderson and Tiffany Bowerman and nephew Christopher Bowerman. Vern was born in Norwich, Ontario, to the late Vernon and Lillian Bowerman. He worked at the Bingo Hall and Guardian Glass. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. Cremation to follow, with a private interment of ashes in Tillsonburg Cemetery on a later date. Donations to Diabetes Canada or Heart & Stroke will be gratefully acknowledged.
