Obituary of Ross Harvey Sutherland

Obituary SUTHERLAND - Ross Harvey of St. Thomas (formerly of British Columbia) passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, with his family by his side, on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the age of 69. Ross is survived by his loving partner and best friend Dianne Schievink; by his sons Paul Sutherland (Yene Haile) and Gordon Sutherland (Adrianna Mc Astocker) all of BC, Daniel Schievink of St. Thomas, and Kevin (Ricki) Schievink of BC; by his nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; his sister Mary (Butch) Derksen of BC; by his brother-in-law Bob Clermont (Patricia Morgan) of St. Thomas; his stepbrother-in-law Gary (Heather) Clermont and stepsister-in-law Sylvia Couture; by his many nieces and nephews; and by his dear lifelong friend Doug (Patti) Allen all of BC. Ross was a former employee at Sterling Truck Corporation - St. Thomas. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:00 pm. If desired, donations to Fellowship Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated.
