Obituary of Costantina Carboni

CARBONI - Costantina (nee Polo) of St. Thomas and formerly St. Catharines and Alghero, Italy, passed away surrounded by the love of her family, at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni Carboni (2015). Costantina is survived by her sons John (Michelle) Carboni of Penticton, B.C. and Antonello (Debbie) Carboni of St. Thomas; by her grandchildren Matteo, Marco, Nicolo, Emma, and Peter; by her sisters Peppina, Anna, Pierina, Rosa and Matteo (Chiara); by her brother-in-law Bruno Carboni; by her sister-in-law Filomena Carboni all of Italy; and by her many other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 9:00 am. Interment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines at 1:00 pm.
