GLASGOW - Yvette Volcis Verbena of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the age of 79. Yvette was born in St. Vincent, West Indies, Caribbean. She came to Canada in 1974, resided in St. Thomas and worked as a Registered Nurse at the St. Thomas-General Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes at a later date. If desired, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated. Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
