I met her through my son at the courts, as they went to high school together. We supported each other. I believed she gave me strength, and she believed I gave her strength...There was a bond, and was so pleased to hear that she was out of rehab in Jan/2023.. but so sad that she succumbed to her demon one last time. She was a special person in my heart.

I met Sheena at the Centre of Hope in London, Ontario. I saw a very kind, friendly, compassionate young woman. We were roomies in the detox and shared many of our life's stories. I am truly sad and my heart goes out to her family and her twin brother, whom she shared a lot to me about him and their adventures.
God bless you, my "little one" friend.....you will be missed, your beautiful smile remembered by so many people that knew you. May your sweet light shine forever more and there will be no more pain.

I am so grateful that I introduced myself to the quiet storm in the room that was you. For whatever reason, we kept in touch and it was a great day when I was able to join you in person at the House. From there, our friendship deepened. You had such a huge heart, and your smile and laugh would light up any room. Your creativeness and zest for living (even in the tough times) was awesome to witness; your battle with your demons inspirational. Back in our Elmdale days, Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" album was a mainstream hit. I remember writing a song with all the punk rock attitude of Lavigne, and later shared it Sheena. She loved it and sang it with me.
