We are deeply sorry for the loss of Maureen. We enjoyed having her join us for dinners in our home and listening to her stories of England, her memories of growing up there and travelling back to visit family regularly. Over the past four years ,while our daughter Rachael lived in England Maureen inspired her to visit many cities she may not have and shared her experiences with Maureen through postcards, texts/emails. Maureen loved to share stories of family travels , entertaining, and how very proud she was of Edward and his accomplishments and of her grandchildren. Our friendship with Maureen may have been shorter than many others however we developed a great bond that will be remembered always. The photo of Maureen is excellent! Her smile was contagious and welcoming. We will miss you dear Maureen and pray for you daily.
Most sincere condolences to her family and friends,
Love,
The Muma's , Michael, Cheryl, Rachael, Sarah and Joseph.

I am so saddened to hear of Maureen’s passing. She has always been in my life. I was fortunate to grow up with the Avery’s as our neighbours. She was always up for an adventure and we had many. I will miss our chats and visits and the endless love she showed me. My condolences to her family and many friends. Debbie

I am so sorry to learn of Maureen's passing. We first met Elmer and Maureen through hockey in South Florida. It wasn't long before we felt we had known them forever. So easy to love them both. She was such a dear friend to my entire family. I feel fortunate to have many memories of fun times we shared. She was one of a kind and she'll be missed by everyone. Sending deepest condolences to her entire extended family and friends.
With Love and Sympathy,
Her Florida Family- Joan Mills (Russell, Elzana, Linda, Andy, Pamela & Doug)

Maureen’s smile, wit and wicked sense of humour are what come to mind for me. I had the very good fortune to volunteer with Maureen a few times at STEGH. She always arrived looking fabulous and ready to help. Often she brought a story of not being able to find a parking spot or forgetting her hearing aids which made sharing information challenging. She always brightened the day with her enthusiasm and energy. She has been missed these past few months and will continue to be missed. Sincerely Sue Huber
